Aaron Antrim joins Actionfigure as Strategic Advisor for GTFS Ops 

Transit agencies of every size are now expected to deliver accurate digital passenger information as part of their core operations. Most of that information runs on GTFS. And most agencies still lack a partner with real depth across the full passenger information pipeline.

That’s exactly what we’re building with GTFS Ops, and we couldn’t be more excited to announce that Aaron Antrim is joining us as Strategic Advisor to help us grow it.

Aaron knows this space better than almost anyone. He founded Trillium Solutions, the leading GTFS data management company for small and mid-sized transit agencies, which grew to support more than 350 providers with cloud-based tools for GTFS and passenger information before its acquisition by Optibus. He co-founded MobilityData, the international nonprofit that stewards GTFS, and led the development of GTFS Best Practices, the industry-wide guidelines that raise the bar on data quality and interoperability worldwide. His background also extends into information design, including transit websites and print passenger information systems, which keeps his technical work grounded in what travelers actually experience.
