TransitScreen has announced its expansion into Latin America, with data now available in the six largest cities for its TransitScreen displays, MobilityScore platform, and CityMotion mobile app.

TransitScreen, a Washington, DC-based software company providing real-time information for all mobility options, has helped real estate and corporate offices around the country with its curated lobby displays since 2013. It announced the release of its app, CityMotion, last November.

Now, the company will be offering these solutions to another continent: Latin America.

“Many of our corporate customers have major hubs across Latin America reaching this growing and diverse market,” said TransitScreen cofounder Ryan Croft. “This announcement is the first of many in the coming year to expand our CityMotion app by making it available in cities across the globe.”

“We’re very excited to be incorporating this data into our platform,” said Diego Canales, TransitScreen’s Global Data Partnerships Manager. “As the year goes on, we look forward to increasing our international presence around the world.”

The initial launch will cover the six of the most populous metropolitan regions in Latin America: Sao Paulo and Belo Horizonte, Brazil; Mexico City, Mexico; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Bogota, Colombia; and Santiago de Chile, Chile. These cities are home to an estimated 75 million people.
