TransitScreen introduces Airport Hubs across the United States

TransitScreen and our new app CityMotion are focused on simplifying your travel and commute within urban areas. Personally, I am in a different city nearly every week. I visited 30+ airports in 2018, and getting downtown from each had its unique challenges. Which train or bus gets me downtown? Do Uber and Lyft operate here? Where do I stand to wait for my rideshare driver to arrive? Do I need a bus to get to my rental car? Am I missing another mode that gets me downtown just as quickly, but more sustainably?

Screen Shot 2019-03-21 at 1-07-29 PMThe vast majority of people are confused when they land at any airport. Whether you’re inexperienced or savvy, one thing is not almost never clear: How do you get where you’re going next? We hear you. That’s why we’re excited to launch “Hubs,” our newest feature for CityMotion customers.

Introducing: Airport Hubs

Whether you’re a corporate traveler or on-the-go resident, Hubs take the mystery out of major destinations like airports by providing current, curated information to save you time and money.

All you have to do is open up your CityMotion app when you’ve landed at an airport. You’ll see specific instructions for how to find your mobility options. At a growing number of airports, you’ll even get specific directions from your exact terminal or concourse. And, as always, you’ll have real-time updates to make sure you’re maximizing your time, not standing on a train platform with your luggage.

You can even jump into different ridesharing apps to book your transportation options, as well as certain public transit apps to pay for tickets online.

Where are they?

We’ll be rolling them out soon at all major airports and train stations across the US. Today, we’re excited to launched our Airport Hubs feature is live at the 22 busiest airports in the country.
