We’re excited to announce that our cofounder, Ryan Croft, has become a member of the Federal City Council, a Washington, DC-based nonprofit that aims to promote economic development through the city. As a company that’s quite invested in the economic success of DC, we’re thrilled to be given the opportunity to contribute to its promotion in a meaningful way.
The Federal City Council has been involved with a number of influential projects, including the construction of the Washington DC Metro, the convention center, and what is now the Capital One Arena. It deals specifically with issues relating to urban planning and real estate development, things that are very close to our heart at TransitScreen.
Other members include former DC Mayor (and TransitScreen advisor) Anthony Williams, several BID representatives, heads of local real estate companies like Tishman Speyer and Carr Properties, and presidents of local universities.
“I was honored to be asked to join such an influential and forward-thinking group,” said Ryan Croft, TransitScreen cofounder. “I look forward to being an integral part of giving back to DC’s economic development as a city.”
