During Gabe’s time as a DOT commissioner, he and his team created the Capital Bikeshare and Divvy Bike systems, now two of the largest programs in the United States. Today it has an annual ridership nearing 6 million trips. Gabe has also served as a regional vice president at Zipcar during its founding years.

He also has a background in real estate, having previously been a Senior Visiting Fellow at the Urban Land Institute. Additionally, he has advised a number of successful startups including RideScout, Sensity Systems, Transloc and Spin. Gabe is a Co-Founder of CityFi, which advises cities, corporations, foundations, and startups on today’s urban mobility and technology landscape.

“After having advised TransitScreen and getting to know the company and management, over the last few years, I’m glad to be taking the next step and joining the board of directors,” said Gabe. “I look forward to seeing how we can grow the company during this exciting time of expanding mobility options.”

TransitScreen recently raised an additional round of funding, bringing its total to $6.1 million.
