Actionfigure’s Data Platform continues to evolve, making it easier to power accurate, real-time transit information at scale. Our latest Data Platform expansion introduces new tools and workflows that strengthen how General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) Schedule and real-time data are created, validated, monitored, and maintained across the platform.
Introducing GTFS Builder
Actoinfigure has launched a new internal GTFS Builder tool to support the creation of high-quality GTFS feeds for customer agencies. Built on open-source foundations and enhanced with extensive documentation, GTFS Builder enables the creation of a complete GTFS suite.
This tool will soon be integrated into the Actionfigure Portal, allowing customers to partially self-manage their feeds while maintaining consistency with best practices and validation standards.
Powering Real-Time Through Partnership
GTFS creation is a foundational step in delivering real-time transit information. Through our partnership with Swiftly, Actionfigure acts as a GTFS services provider, enabling Swiftly customers to unlock accurate real-time predictions and operational insights. San José Mineta International Airport is the first paid customer supported through this partnership, with GTFS and real-time services helping power operations around major events.
Smarter Monitoring and Data Quality
To ensure reliability at scale, we’ve expanded automated monitoring across GTFS and GTFS-RT feeds. New Metabase reports, integrated validation workflows aligned with MobilityData standards, and Grafana Dashboards replace third-party validators and provide deeper visibility into feed quality and prediction performance.
We’ve also introduced proactive screen and hub maintenance tools, including bulk stop updates and invalid stop detection, dramatically reducing data issues before they impact riders.
Building Toward a More Connected Ecosystem
With support for over 3,000 transit agencies globally, expanded real-time coverage for public and private shuttle systems, and ingestion of bikeshare, scooter, and carshare feeds, the Actionfigure Data Platform continues to serve as the backbone for screens, mobile apps, and mobility experiences worldwide.
This Data Platform expansion reinforces Actionfigure’s commitment to delivering clean, interoperable transit data that scales, ensuring riders can see information they can trust, wherever they travel.
